The Parish Community of San Sebastiano Martire in Sebastiano al Vesuvio is pleased to communicate to all the faithful, what a Monday 13, Tuesday 14 and Thursday 15 maggio, will welcome the sacred relics of Saint Anthony of Padua.

TODAY SUNDAY 28 APRIL AT 17.30 WE WELCOME THE SIMULACRES OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY IMMACULATE AND OF SAINT GEORGE THE MARTYR, IN PIAZZA DELLA REPUBBLICA IN SAN SEBASTIANO AL VESUVIO. EVERY TEN YEARS THERE IS THIS MEETING , NOW TRADITION , BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES OF SAN GIORGIO A CREMANO AND SAN SEBASTIANO AL VESUVIO. THIS YEAR MARKS THE EIGHTIING ANNIVERSARY OF THE LAVA MIRACLE THAT OCCURRED IN 1944. FRATERNITY MEETING, OF PRAYER AND TRADITION THAT IS RENEWED . I ALSO THANK THE COMMUNITY OF SANTA MARIA DEL CARMINE AI CATINI IN CERCOLA AND THE COMMUNITY OF SANTA MARIA ASSUNTA IN CEIELO IN MASSA DI SOM WITH THE DEAR PRIESTS PARISH DON MIMMO AND DON SALVATORE, WHO IMMEDIATELY ACCEPTED MY INVITATION TO JOIN US. PARISH NOTICES FROM SUNDAY 28 APRIL TO SUNDAY 5 MAY
a) Sunday Holy Masses 8:30 (church) 10:30 (tendostruttura liceo) - 11.30 (church) - 12:30 (church) - 19.00 (church).
At about 17.30 near Piazza della Repubblica we will welcome the Simulacra of the Blessed Virgin Immaculate and of San Giorgio Martire. Every ten years there is this meeting, now tradition, between the communities of San Giorgio a Cremano and San Sebastiano al Vesuvio. This year marks the eightieth anniversary of the lava miracle that occurred in 1944. At about 17.30 we will have the fraternity meeting, of prayer and tradition that is renewed. Let us live this moment of faith with joy, hope and fraternal charity. Peace and good.
We welcome one of our brothers from the "Tennis Shoes" Association and live this day of prayer with him, of sharing and charity!
Holy Masses every day on weekdays 8:30 – 19:00.
b) Monday For service to the poor we make these proposals:
- Prepare for those who can, 5/10 chicken sandwiches for our brothers who live on the street. Please deliver them to the church at hours 17.00 precise.
You also need a hand for distribution. Contact p.Enzo.
Hours 19.30 Heart to heart prayer from the nuns
c) Wednesday 1st May begins the Marian Month - Holy Mass hours 8.30 foil and ejaculation; hours 18.30 Holy Rosary to follow Holy Mass hours 19.00, foil and ejaculation.
Wednesday Holy Mass hours 19.00 children in heaven.
d) Friday 1st Friday of the month. Holy Mass hours 8.30- Eucharistic adoration until 3.00 pm 10.00. Hours 17.15 Adorazione Eucaristica - Chaplet of Divine Mercy - Holy Rosary and Holy Mass hours 19.00.
e) Sunday 5 May After the Holy Mass of the hours 10.30 followed by the parish oratory and the parents' meeting with the catechist team. Non mancate.
f) from 13 to the 15 May we will welcome the relics of Saint Anthony of Padua.
g) from 1 July to 14 The summer event is held in July.
Registrations for the grest will begin on Monday 29 April every day in church from 17.00 all 19.00. For kids and young people who want to help liven up the camp, They are welcome.
