Broken bread tastes better than lobster. Word of Jesus. I launch a truly special and simple proposal to all the faithful, catechists, volunteers, ministers of the Communion, parents children in catechism. Open the doors of the house on Sunday, or on any of the days to share lunch or dinner with other people in need; with this initiative we do not respond to a need for food but, anzitutto, di accoglienza e incontro. La povertà materiale spesso si intreccia alla povertà relazionale, la fatica di arrivare a fine mese con la deriva della solitudine che si fa emarginazione. Chi ha aderito all'iniziativa negli anni scorsi, ha potuto sperimentare incontri sorprendenti. Che a volte hanno generato amicizie. Si è soliti pensare a poveri, clochard e via dicendo come fossero una categoria sociologica. Li si invita, li si incontra, si condivide con loro il pasto e il tempo della festa nello spazio della vita familiare, e si scopre come dietro la "barriera" di una categoria astratta c'è una persona, un volto, un nome, una storia. Una ferita nascosta. Una speranza di riscatto. C'È Gesù. La fame di misericordia e la sete di giustizia, accoglienza, riconoscimento della propria dignità, non si sono estinte. Non resta che aprire la porta di casa e integrare nella dimensione della quotidianità le opere di misericordia e la loro profezia di un mondo diverso. Accogliere è amare. Buona festa dell’accoglienza. Per chi vuole dare una mano nei vari servizi a favore dei fratelli che sono nel bisogno potete Rivolgervi a Wanda, Lina ed Amedeo. BUONA FESTA DELL'ACCOGLIENZA.
